*#Larsen - Ridge Runner

Ridge Runner was composed in 2012 and has five short, connected sections. It requires excellent flexibility, clarity of articulation, and rhythmic precision. It uses many mutes including harmon mute, cup mute, and plunger.

Latham - Suite

Suite is comprised of three movements: Prelude, Air, and Dance. The first movement contains many sixteenth note scale patterns that require clear articulation. The second movement is slow and sustained and does not contain any intervals larger than a fifth. The final movement is very fast and requires light triple tonguing.

Mahler - Songs of a Wayfarer

Songs of a Wayfarer is an arrangement of Mahler's song cycle of the same name. Some of the movements change meter, and others feature uncommon keys like C# major. Most of the intervals are smaller than a fifth. Parts available for trumpet in Bb or C.
